Tobey Parker (b. 2000, Brooklyn, NY) is a multimedia artist, archivist, and publicist based in Queens, NY whose work is informed by his interest in the soft power of cute. Using consumer culture as source material in paintings, sculptures, and digital illustrations that explore coming of age post-y2k, and our relationships to comfort. In these works, mascot characters like those spotted during childhood trips to the 99cent store act as a stand in for the many faces we wear publicly. He received his BFA in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design. 
Parker co-founded and established online visual archive Visitnymph, which has a following of over 34,000. He’s set his sights on expanding the on-going immersive project Seraph World through painting, design, textiles, and sound work.
